How to Do Nothing on Your Honeymoon (and have an incredible time).

We had the most amazing wedding.  With our family, we’d planned every second of our wedding weekend.  Not kidding:  every second.  So it’s easy to understand why we wanted to take the ultimate honeymoon:  we wanted to go someplace well off the beaten path where it was actually possible…no, likely, that we could do absolutely nothing.

Barbara put together a ten-day trip to Tahiti and Bora Bora for us that was magical from the time we left until the time we returned.  With all our flights, boat transfers and hotels locked down tight, we got to Tahiti at night, walked to our over-water villa, popped the bottle of champagne Barbara had arranged and felt the stress and pressure just melt away.

Whether we were having drinks on the beach, swimming with sharks or waking up to the sound of water lapping up against the posts that held our villa above the clear blue water, everything felt effortless, fun and easy.  This might sound weird, but there was something very special about doing nothing.

And Barbara’s attention to detail was incredible.  Part of ‘doing nothing’ was having Perfect Plan on our side.  If anything wasn’t perfect, their attitude was, “Don’t you worry, we’ve got this.”  To have that every step of the way on your honeymoon?  Well, that was just perfect.

What three words best describe Perfect Plan for you?
“Committed, decisive & caring.”
